where I live it’s usually Subway… and Tim’s isn’t that common here, though we do have them!!

i feel sad seeing those posts of men thinking that if a woman likes something from the tech world or the sci fi world is “faking” or “doesn’t know what she is talking about”

like how set back in the past are these men? women are allowed to like whatever they want! and most likely know more than you about said topic.

there are tons of beautiful women out there in the world of nerd culture who are so dedicated to what they love.. but some are afraid to follow that path because of the harsh people out there constantly harping on them

Men you gotta treat the ladies as one okay? don’t make judgements about the women dressed as storm and assume she knows nothing about the x men universe

maybe she doesn’t? maybe she only knows everything based on one movie? thats okay!

or maybe she has read every single comic in the x men universe and can spit trivia at you lightening fast.. again thats okay!

maybe you wore a wolverine costume but didn’t really know anything about X men as well.. you wouldn’t want a cluster of people harping on you for faking or not knowing what you are doing

We are all just a cluster of nerds and geeks who finally belong and feel comfortable and confident in our own skin

next time you see a gal in cosplay.. maybe strum up a conversation about that

or let that women know she did a great job talking about computer hardware and learned alot

don’t judge the comic book by her cover!
